CLI installation

Install the ekmire CLI via pip or a single binary.

Install via pip

The fastest path. Requires Python 3.10+.

$ pip install ekmire

Standalone binary

Single static binary, no Python dependency. Releases are published on GitHub for Linux (amd64, arm64), macOS (arm64), and Windows (amd64).

Verify the install

Run ekmire version to confirm the install, then ekmire auth status to check authentication.

$ ekmire version
ekmire v2.0.3 by Flux8Labs
$ ekmire auth status
Not authenticated — run `ekmire auth login`

Authentication commands

COMMANDDESCRIPTION
ekmire auth loginOpen browser, complete OAuth flow, save API key to ~/.ekmire/config.
ekmire auth logoutRemove saved credentials from ~/.ekmire/config.
ekmire auth statusShow current authentication state and masked API key.

Credentials are stored in ~/.ekmire/config (your home directory). Uninstalling the CLI does not clear credentials — run ekmire auth logout explicitly.
